Transformative Writing

Leave hang-ups about writing behind. Learn how keeping a personal journal can empower and transform your life. The writing is entirely private. Techniques are taught to release and process negative emotions and events as well as to capture positive ones. Research has shown this type of writing can actually boost your immune system. Come discover and heal yourself!

You do not have to be a ‘writer’ to join this group. You will be jotting down your own thoughts and feelings that are not seen by anyone else.

This group is professionally led by Joan Leof, of Write to Heal. Joan has been journaling for more than 40 years, and has been leading workshops in self-expression for more than 20 years.

Idea Exchange
The facilitator of this program uses excerpts from many different books - such as Chicken Soup for the Soul - to stimulate thoughts, conversation, and impressions that assist participants in gaining new insights into living life with MS and life’s challenges in general.
