Delaware MS Income Tax Check-off Bill

House Bill No. 191 was signed into law
by Governor Markell on September 4, 2009!

This bill creates a tax check-off for Delaware taxpayers to designate contributions to the Delaware Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Fund. The use of the contributions will be restricted locally by the Delaware Chapter to benefit Delaware residents.

The main sponsor of the bill is Representative Deborah Hudson. Also sponsoring the bill are Senators Patricia Blevins, Karen Peterson and Bethany Hall-Long. The co-sponsors are Representatives Helene Keeley, Melanie Marshall, Teresa Schooley, Nick Manolakos and Michael Ramone.
