Volunteer for Spring 2009 Events

Spring into Action to Create a World Free of MS!

The Delaware Chapter of the National MS Society is currently planning the 2009 Walk MS events and Bike MS: Crankin’ for a Cure (formerly Mason-Dixon ride). To help ensure the success of these events, we need volunteers  in a variety of areas:

  • Registration
  • Rest stop support
  • T-Shirt runners
  • Finish line cheerleaders
  • Finish line set up & support
  • Lunch set up & support
  • Route support
  • Truck loading/unloading

Individuals and groups are encouraged to participate in these events that help bring awareness of the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis. Both events raise funds to provide programs and assistance to the more that 1,500 Delawareans living with MS, as well as to fund important research into the cause of MS, more effective treatments and eventually the cure.
