Life with MS impacts everyone in the family. That is why the Chapter offers individualized, age appropriate education and support for every member of the family.
Support includes:
> Counseling for parents, teens, and children
> Assistance in locating other community resources
> Caregiver support and resources
> Kids Camp, a recreation and education weekend retreat for children, ages 6-12, who have a parent with MS (Visit our Programs Calendar to find upcoming Kids Camp dates)
> Teen Summit , a recreation and education weekend retreat for teens, ages 13-17, who have a parent with MS (Visit our Programs Calendar to find upcoming Teen Summit dates)
> Keep S'myelin, a newsletter for children who have a parent or other relative living with MS
> Financial Support, including college scholarships for students that have a parent with MS or have MS themselves.
> Relationship Matters, a program for couples living with MS. Having a healthy relationship is hard work even in the best of times; MS can make it even harder, and this program will help couples minimize the effects of MS on their lives. Now available - a teleconference series with two new topics!
