Wing & Rock Fest Joins the First Coast Walk MS

Drop your ear buds and get ready for your taste buds to be tickled, The New 96.9 The Eagle Wing & Rock Fest is bringing live classic rock tribute bands and tasy chicken wings to the grounds of the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday, April 18th. From 12 noon to 8pm, festival-goers of all ages will enjoy hot wings, cold beer and great music. This FREE all-day outdoor festival will be held on Duval Street and the grounds surrounding the arena.

"The Eagle delivers the best classic hits each and every day", said Andy Meyer, Program Director for WJGL. "The Wing & Rock Fest is a fun way for us to connect with loyal listeners to celebrate nice weather, great music and delicious wings."

The Wing & Rock Fest will feature Jacksonville's best wing houses including Hurricanes Grill and Wings, Hooters, Sharky's Wings and Grill, Fast Boy's Wings and more. Don't miss the Wng Eating contest at 5:30pm as local wing lovers compete for prizes! Plus, there will also be a Kid Zone with inflatables, face painting and interactive exhibits!
