The National MS Society South Florida Chapter Raises $70,000 at Annual Golf Tournament

BOCA RATON, FL – The National Multiple Sclerosis Society South Florida Chapter recently held its 29th Annual Golf Tournament at the Boca Lago Country Club in Boca Raton. CBM of America, Inc. served as this years title sponsor.
The event was well attended with 132 golfers and raised $70,000. Some of the golfers included past Miami Dolphin player Terry Kirby and Buffalo Bills all-time leading tackler Darryl Talley.
Chairman of the committee, Stuart Kosh was joined by committee members: Jimi Batchelor, Lou DePrima, Larry Dezenzo, Corey Engelhard, Michael Goonan, Scott Karneth, Joe Mastrullo, Jonathan J. Meyers, Bill Riorden and Audra Stepp.
The National MS Society gold sponsorships included: UPS, Stuart I. Kosh, and Jeffrey Kosh. Wachovia Securities, Telecom Resources of America, Inc., Transitions, Anixter, Essilor Laboratories, Ricoh and Kbco the Polarized Lens Company were the silver sponsors.
Throughout the course golfers were treated with California Pizza Kitchen, Celsius, Inc., Chick-fil-A, Exquisite Catering by Rob, Firehouse Subs, Outback Steakhouse of West Boca and Red Bull North America. For a fourth year in a row, golfers were served cocktails courtesy of Grey Goose Vodka. At the end of the tournament, players were able to relax with massages provided by Keiser University Massage Program.
The evening was concluded with a buffet dinner, awards and a favorable live auction with unforgettable items such as a Goodyear Blimp ride, six night stay in Breckenridge, CO and tickets for the 2010 Sony Ericsson Open.
