Kid's Camp

kidscamp_nodate

On a daily basis, children have to cope with the reality of their active, involved parent or grandparent no longer taking such an active role in their lives. Roles reverse, with children assuming caregiving responsibilities and withdrawing from their normal daily routine of studying, playing, socializing, and coping.

At the National MS Society's Kids' Coping Camp, kids have the opportunity to share and explore ways to cope with daily pressures of living with a parent or grandparent with MS. They will spend a weekend with kids who are just like them in a safe setting away from their everyday responsibilities.

Weekend activities include:

  • swimming
  • arts & crafts
  • hayride
  • sports
  • nature trails
  • campfires and much more!
