Yoga

Yoga combines breathing with movements that alternate between simulating and relaxing the body. The rhythmic, abdominal breathing that is done in yoga is important to people with MS who may not be able to achieve deep breathing through vigorous exercise. Additionally, most classes end in meditation exercise which relaxes the mind and may sharpen mental acuity.

A nominal fee is charged for some classes.
