Information and Referral is a service designed to assist people with MS and their families and friends, health professionals, and others in locating information and resources. Community-based referrals are available for support services, health care professionals such as neurologists, in-home services, long term care, legal support, home adaptations, transportation, counseling, and other valuable resources.
A variety of free articles and National MS Society literature on MS, current research, and symptom management is also available. With the guidance of the Chapter’s Clinical Advisory Committee, resources are continually updated and added. While the National MS Society cannot recommend a particular person or agency to provide a service, the resources available have been screened for relevance, accuracy, and other important variables.
