State Issues
In Georgia, we are currently seeking the following…
- A voluntary tax check-off on State individual tax payer forms that will allow Georgians to donate a part or all of their tax return to the National MS Society – Georgia Chapter’s Financial Assistance Program.
- The creation of a High Risk Insurance Pool in the state.
- More accessible and available transportation options for people living with disabilities throughout the state.
- Increased funding for disability supports and greater home health services for the MS community of Georgia.
- Disavowing any cuts to the state-sponsored Medicaid program
- The protection of all valuable research efforts that could yield a cure for Multiple Sclerosis
