Fundraising Volunteers/Community Events

We Joined the Movement

Another way for volunteers or groups of volunteers to get involved in a fun and creative way is to host a Community Event and raise funds to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society - Georgia Chapter.

A Community Event can range from a yard sale to a golf tournament to a 5K run. It can be as simple or complex as you'd like. Community Events are fun because YOU are in charge!  Business owners can choose to donate a portion of sales from a special MS night at their restaurant, boutique or home store. Others will donate a portion of proceeds from the online sales of a special "MS Orange" product.

A Community Event refers to any fundraising activity by a non-affiliated group or individual (third party), where the Society has no fiduciary or agency responsibilities and little or no staff involvement.
