It’s time to join the movement at Carnivale 2009! Come on down and enjoy a vivid New Orleans style night out featuring amazing performers, fanciful costumes, hot jazz, and exotic food. This is the party of the year, and all the festivities benefit the National MS Society, Greater Illinois Chapter’s important research and programs for people living with MS throughout Illinois.
On Friday, February 20, 2009, the Greater Illinois Chapter will host Carnivale at the Embassy Suites Hotel in East Peoria, Illinois. The event will run from 6:00 pm until Midnight. A French Quarter style menu featuring traditional Louisiana fare will be served, as well as a complimentary wine menu. For those desiring other libations, a cash bar will also be available. Guests are invited to fashion masks, don their most festive attire and dance the night away to Carl Anderson’s New Orleans Jazz Band, and local masters of groove, Jammsammich. In addition to live musical entertainment, there will be a festival of entertainers, a silent auction, raffle, games and prizes.
