Cocktailin’ for the Cause, a semi-formal benefit hosted by Multiple Solutions, the junior board and auxiliary group of the Greater Illinois Chapter, was held Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009. More than 400 attendees participated, enjoying an evening filled with dancing, cocktails, silent auction and raffle prizes (featuring a Florida vacation package!). The 6th annual event was held in the Fender Ballroom of the Hard Rock Hotel on Michigan Ave. in Chicago.
SKYY Spirits, Two Brothers Brewing Co., Crown Imports, Four Corners Tavern Group and Fine Vine provided the alcohol. Live entertainment was provided by Takabite, an upbeat Chicago cover band, and The Dogz, a standards jazz band. Generous sponsorship was also provided by Sun Microsystems, Aloha Document Services, Schwab Charitable, Chicago-Scene, 104.3 JackFM and the Rachel B Williams Foundation. Cocktailin’ for the Cause has raised almost $53,000 to date. Stay tuned for details about next year’s event, to be held November 2010.
