For everyone who wants to Join the Movement against MS, Greater Illinois Chapter events provide several ways to do something about multiple sclerosis: participate in fun events that help raise money and awareness for research and programs, advocate at the local and national levels for helpful legislation, volunteer your time and skills to help foster a community of hope for people living with MS, and even help educate others about MS, its impact on the community and the challenges faced by everyone affected by it. Each event contributes to our mission, largely thanks to the substantial help of terrific chapter volunteers. Some events help fund research and local programs while raising public awareness of the disease, other events highlight the latest research or the great work of volunteers, and still others are just fun, community-building opportunities.
