Maintaining a healthy social life is just as important as staying in good physical shape when it comes to managing your MS.
The Greater Illinois Chapter plans numerous free social events exclusively for individuals and families living with multiple sclerosis. Connect with others living with MS while enjoying outings to some of Illinois’ most exciting tourist attractions and venues, including museums, sporting events, theaters and parks.

Peoria Chiefs Baseball Game
May 7, 2011
Thank you for coming out and enjoying the game!
Record numbers for our chapter and the ball park came out and watched the Chiefs beat the Cougars 6-1 in a spectacular game complete with the appearance of Star Wars characters, sack races from fans and a marriage proposal that was accepted somewhere around the 6th inning.
The night was completed with a twenty minute fireworks display. Now that's how the Chiefs play ball! We'll look for you at the next Central Illinois social program near you.

Kane County Cougars Baseball Game
June 11, 2011
Thank you for coming out and enjoying the game!
Even though the Cougars lost to the Dragons 0-3, close to 90 families, friends and volunteers managed to enjoy a rather misty game and each other.
A (rolling) foul ball was caught, new friends were made and conversations and song went well into the night.
