Service programs help people with multiple sclerosis maintain independent living and improve their quality of life. Three levels of service begin with information and referral, and move up as needed for additional services to help each person face their challenges of living with multiple sclerosis.
A call to the Information Resource Center brings a client to a source rich in information about multiple sclerosis, about the chapter and about all the resources that are available. The IRC specialist assesses the need for further referral and, when necessary, will refer someone to the chapter’s other service programs.
