If you are looking to donate your time, talents, professional skills, passion, or all of the above, volunteering can enhance our progress to create a world free of multiple sclerosis. To find out what areas we can put your talents to work, please download and submit a volunteer application form or use the links below to help you find a volunteering opportunity that’s right for you.
Events
Join hundreds of volunteers at various walk, bike, climb or social events. Each event offers an inspirational and rewarding opportunity to do something BIG for those living with MS. See how you can get involved in our current event volunteer opportunities.
Advocacy
Join our advocacy efforts as an MS Activist by visiting or contacting your state and federal legislators to talk about the policies and programs that affect people with MS. See how you can get involved in our current advocacy volunteer opportunities.
Chapter Programs
Provide assistance to our supportive services such as social, educational and informational groups; peer support program; family-oriented activities and community health fairs. See how you can get involved in our current program volunteer opportunities.
Office Support
Our events and programs take planning. Join the behind-the-scenes crew in our office and help with event preparation, data entry, phone calls or administration. See how you can get involved in our current office volunteer opportunities.
Planning and Leadership Committees
Programs and fundraising events are made possible through planning and leadership committees. Volunteers work on these committees with chapter staff to plan, recruit, fundraise and coordinate the programs and events. See how you can get involved in our current committee and leadership volunteer opportunities.
Internship Opportunities
College students can gain real-world experience and assist in our great cause as an intern in one of our departments. Increase your skill set and help create a world free of MS all at once! See how you could be applying your new knowledge and getting hands-on experience with an internship at the Chapter.
Multiple Solutions (Junior Board)
Join a group of young professionals who have a connection to MS and a commitment to end MS. The group meets regularly to plan and organize fundraising events; learn more about MS, research or treatments; socialize among peers; and volunteer for the Society.
More Ideas
You can also volunteer by organizing your own community event fundraiser or by getting your company involved in creating a world free of MS.
