Information and Referral
The National MS Society has trained staff on hand to assist people with MS and their families and friends, health professionals, and others in locating information and resources. Some community-based referrals that are available:

- health care professionals' neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, dentists, gynecologists, and urologists
- in-home services
- long term care
- legal support
- home adaptations
- transportation
- counseling
- medical equipment

Knowledge is Power
The Knowledge Is Power (KIP) program is a free, at-home educational series for people newly diagnosed with MS and their families. Knowledge Is Power provides information about dealing with one of the greatest challenges presented by MS - the unpredictability and uncertainty of what is in your future.
