Becky Kimbell June 10, 1972 - October 1, 2009

We’ve had a tragic loss in the National MS Society. Becky Kimbell passed away after experiencing heart failure and loss of consciousness over three weeks ago on September 8th. She remained in a coma, and died peacefully this morning.

Becky has been with the National MS Society for more than eight years. She was Programs & Services Manager in the All America Chapter (AAC) and Manager in the South Central & Western Kansas Office for most of her tenure. She was an integral part of the development of the AAC and our programs and services delivery.

Our hearts go out to Becky’s husband James and their three small children, Owen, Bailey and Nathan. She is also survived by loving family members, parents Bob and Emma Westwood and sister Tammy Sinclair.

As many of you know this is an especially difficult time for the Kimbell family. Due to the struggling economy, James was laid off from his job with Learjet several months ago. A special fund is being established for the Kimbell family. Information on this fund and on the funeral services will be posted on the Watson Funeral Home website later today. Website link is:

If you would like to also send condolences to the family you can mail to the AAC, Wichita Office. Erin Keller, Becky’s close friend and co-worker will make certain they get it.
