Obtaining accurate information about MS can be challenging. For this reason, the chapter has a wide array of information available for persons with MS, their families and friends, health care professionals, students and the general public. Information topics range from identifying symptoms to diagnosis, treatment and research. There is no charge for this information.

Lending Library

Education Programs
Education Programs are offered on a variety of topics that range from dealing with diagnosis to adapting to life with MS. The Chapter also provides a research seminar and professional teleconference series which offers CEU/CME credits. Call 1-800-344-4867, option 1 or 502-451-0014, option 1.
TELECARE is the digital transmission of information from one site to another. This type of programming provides face-to-face interactivity with speaker and participant close to the participant’s home. With TELECARE, it is possible to reach many areas of Kentucky and bring a wider array of speakers who specialize in multiple sclerosis.

MSConnection is the chapter's quarterly newsletter. The publication is sent to people with MS, their families and friends, as well as health care professionals and donors. It contains information about chapter activities, resources clients may want to explore, and the latest research.

Knowledge is Power
A diagnosis of MS can be frightening. Knowledge of MS can make it easier to cope with the challenges to come. "Knowledge is Power" is an eight-week series of articles for people diagnosed with MS. Advocacy
As part of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Kentucky-Southeast Indiana Chapter monitors federal, state, and local issues and legislation that affect people with MS. The Chapter is active in disability coalitions, advisory councils, and organizations representing the interests of persons with chronic illnesses and their families.
