Emergency Financial Assistance
Beginning in 2007, the Chapter offers a financial assistance program for people with MS. This program is designed to assist people with emergency financial needs as well as to help fund items/projects to improve quality of life for those living with multiple sclerosis.
There is an application process to qualify for this program and financial assistance awards are limited to $500 per person annually. The Financial Assistance Program is made possible through donations made by generous supporters of the Kentucky-Southeast Indiana Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Applications for financial assistance are available by calling the NMSS Information & Resources Center at 1-800-FIGHT MS (1-800-344-4867) option “1”.
Scholarship Program
MS shouldn’t stand in the way of an education. This is why the National MS Society's scholarship program exists — to help highly qualified students who have been diagnosed with MS or who have a parent with MS achieve their dreams of going to college.
