From dinner dances to golf tournaments, and everything in between, much of our fundraising effort is carried by folks in the local community who take it on themselves to plan, organize, and execute events that help to support our mission to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis. Boston College Field Hockey
The Boston College Field Hockey Team raised $641 during October 28, 2009 home game vs. Harvard (BC won 9-1). The funds support BC's Walk MS team, Murphy's Law, named for alumni teammate Kathleen Murphy (right) who has MS. On left is Leah DeCosta, Assistant Director, Sports Marketing, who works with Head Coach Ainslee Lamb on the team's fundraising effort.
