Take Action! Be an MS Activist!

Become part of the Action Alert Network

Join the MS Action Network, the center for advocacy at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Together, we represent the interests of people with MS as important policy decisions are made in both the public and private sectors. Our advocacy is focused on: federal funding for MS research; quality health care; long-term care; disability rights; and health insurance and prescription drug coverage. The MS Action Network works on these important issues at the federal, state and local levels.

MS advocacy is changing lives.
Help identify new MS public policy issues!

The Central New England Chapter has made important strides in the public policy arena that have resulted in new laws that benefit people with MS and other disabilities. Through legislative and regulatory approaches, we focus on issues relating to health care, long-term care, health insurance and disability rights to improve the quality of life for individuals with MS and their families.

The Government Relations Committees of New Hampshire and Massachusetts are currently identifying and prioritizing issues for the upcoming legislative sessions. Your feedback on broad issues to focus on is greatly appreciated.

Legislation, regulation, managed care … every day, decisions are made at the state and national levels that affect people living with multiple sclerosis. The Central New England Chapter advocates on behalf of people with MS to ensure equal access to employment, public accommodations, quality health care and affordable, appropriate, quality long-term care.
