Self-Help Groups are composed of individuals with MS, family members and friends who gather regularly to share common concerns, provide support to one another and obtain information relating to various aspects of the disease. The group is facilitated by volunteers who have MS or who have direct association with a person with MS, and is sponsored and guided by the National MS Society, Maryland Chapter. It is an opportunity to share and learn from others who have MS and can provide a vehicle through which individuals can feel empowered.
