The Maine Chapter's Financial Assistance Program is designed to pay for items and services that enhance the quality of life and increase independence for any individual diagnosed with multiple sclerosis living in the state of Maine.
Funds are available on a first come, first served basis.
Please Note the Following Financial Assistance Program Policies:
- We collect financial information to determine coverage. All financial information is confidential and will not be shared.
- Air Conditioning Units will be covered from March 1st, 2010 through August 31st, 2010. We will not accept applications for air conditioning units prior to March 1st. If you are seeking Financial Assistance for an AC Unit, HOLD your application until March 1st.
- Funds are dispersed directly to a vendor. Do not purchase any items. You must make arrangements for the Maine Chapter to pay a vendor directly. The Maine Chapter no longer reimburses individuals for purchases.
