Client Programs
- Advocacy Internship: Support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Advocacy Network outreach and development intiatives while gaining experience in government relations, advocacy work, lobbying, coalition building, grassroots campaigns, and media relations. - Direct Assistance Coordinator: Coordinating direct assistance for our clients, through initial intake contact and sending out follow up materials. There will also be research of available community resources and maintaining information in the database. This is an unpaid position. PDF of Internship description.
- Community Resource Invstigator: Community Resource Investigator (CRI) volunteers will assist in identifying and updating accurate information regarding resources for the National MS Society’s database referral list. The information about these resources will help the Society to provide accurate resources to individuals, family members, and friends affected by multiple sclerosis. Finance & Operations
- General Accounting Internship: Assist with posting of accounting entries related to accounts payable, accounts receivable or general ledger. This is an unpaid position.PDF of Internship description.

Marketing & Development
- P/R Communications Internship: To assist the department in executing marketing and development activities developed in support of Chapter fundraising, education and programmatic events. This is an unpaid position.PDF of internship description.
- Team MS Internship: Team MS Interns are at the forefront of the action, providing support to Team Captains to make our Special Event season a success to benefit the 18,000 people in Michigan living with MS.
