The National MS Society, Michigan Chapter receives numerous inquiries each year from individuals and organizations that want to join the movement and hold their own fundraising events in support of our Mission. And for this we must say thank you!
The events that individuals and organizations create to raise awareness and funds for MS are as unique as the people we serve. From car shows to recitals, these community events bring diverse crowds together in support of the MS movement.
These volunteer-coordinated events are run independently from the chapter and can include golf tournaments, bake sales, wine tastings, casual dress days and more.
Businesses can also help us create a world free of MS and touch the lives of more than 18,000 people in Michigan affected by MS by contributing a portion of their overall proceeds (on an ongoing basis or during a specific promotional period) or by donating proceeds from the sale of a specific product(s) to the Michigan Chapter.
We encourage the development of these volunteer-coordinated events and provide some guidance and resources when needed.
