Teams are a vital part of our success, accounting for nearly 80% of the support raised for our fundraising events in Michigan. Last year over 817 corporate and friends & family teams registered and raised more than $1.5 million through Walk MS, Bike MS, and Golf MS to help support people living with multiple sclerosis.
Achievement Deserves Recognition. We are excited to announce our partnership with Banners With Class LLC. This pilot fundraising program offers quality recognition products to celebrate your outstanding accomplishments and dedication to creating a world free of MS. This program offers personalized banners and wall clings with 25% of every order coming directly back to the Michigan Chapter. What Is a Team? A team consists of a captain and at least three additional team members. A team falls into one of three categories: Corporate, Friends & Family, or Organization. The team captain organizes, leads, and manages the team. The team members can include co-workers, friends, family, neighbors, etc. More team members = more funds raised to fund MS programs, services, and research.
Fundraising Goal: In 2010 the average Walk MS team in Michigan raised $1,404; the average Bike MS team raised $5,100; and the average Golf MS team raised $1,100. Set a goal to be above average in 2011 and help more people with MS!
