Advocacy

Change happens through MS activism. National MS Society activists are passionate individuals who want to do something about MS Now. We advocate for legislation that will ensure fair treatment of people with disabilities and protect the rights to equal access, employment, and proper health care for people with MS. Together we can create a strong voice to impact our leaders and lawmakers at the national and state levels.

Educational Programs

In response to our mission, the Society strives to educate people, family and the entire community about multiple sclerosis. To best meet the needs of the MS Community, we offer this information in a variety of ways.

Information and Referral

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is proud to be your comprehensive source for MS information and referrals to community resources.

Information on MS for Healthcare Professionals

If you are a physician, nurse, social worker, physical therapist, occupational therapist, or other allied heath professional or clinician and have patients with MS, you will find a wealth of valuable resources and information at our Professional Resource Center.

Newly Diagnosed

People with MS have needs that stretch beyond medicine. They have many questions about the disease, what the future holds and how their families and employment will be affected. The Chapter is pleased to offer programs that target the needs of people newly diagnosed with MS.
