Chapter volunteer, fundraiser a finalist in One Man Minneapolis
Brian Woolsey, a volunteer and fundraiser for the National MS Society, Minnesota Chapter, is one of 20 finalists in the One Man Minneapolis contest — which seeks to find a man to represent the best of the Twin Cities from the perspectives of community involvement, personality, intelligence and fitness.
If Woolsey is named the winner, the Minnesota Chapter receives $1,000 in prize money. Woolsey serves on the chapter’s Scholarship Review Team and rides in Bike MS: Larkin Hoffman MS 150.
A winner will be determined at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 18, at the Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis. At the event, five finalists will be announced who will then participate in a live competition involving fashion, pop culture and informal interviews. A panel of seven judges and audience members will select the ultimate winner.
The event is open to the public and online voting is still open. Purchase your ticket online and designate the MS Society to receive half the proceeds by entering “Woolsey” in the charity code box.
