The Minnesota Chapter is looking for ambassadors to represent 2010 Walk MS and Bike MS events. Your story has the power to connect people to the cause and move us closer to a world free of MS.
Tell us why participating in the event is important to you and you may be chosen to be a 2010 Walk MS or Bike MS ambassador! To apply, complete this form by Friday, Nov. 20.
For more information, contact Jenna at 612-335-7981 or jwashnieski@MSsociety.org.
Who can be an event ambassador?
Anyone with a connection to MS who has participated in the event for at least one year and has a story to tell. We are looking for someone whose story will inspire and motivate people to register and raise money for the event.
What does an event ambassador do?
As a Walk MS or Bike MS ambassador you will serve as the “face” of the event. Your story will be featured in event newsletters, e-mails and the Web site. Plus, we will pitch your story to local media to promote the event.
Ambassadors also help promote the event by hanging posters, handing out trading cards and participating in MS Awareness Week.
At the event, ambassador may be asked to do media interviews or talk to other participants about getting involved in the MS movement.
What is the time commitment?
Ambassadors usually spend 15 hours promoting the event in the months leading up to Walk MS or Bike MS.
