Family, Care Partner and Youth Programs

Multiple sclerosis not only affects the person with the disease, but their loved ones as well. The MS Society offers programs and services to support friends, spouses, partners, parents and children of people with the disease. Discover our network of support and other programs for family, care partners and children of people with MS.

We Care - Resources for care partners
Care partners play an important role in the lives of people living with MS. At the Minnesota Chapter we care about and support family members and friends in caring roles.

Keep S'Myelin
Keep S’myelin is a colorful, engaging and informative newsletter to help children and their parents talk and learn about MS together. Keep S'Myelin is a colorful newsletter filled with stories, interviews, games and activities that highlight a variety of topics about MS.

Care Partner Relief Grant
Sometimes care partners need a break. Financial assistance is available for respite care — so family care partners can take time to rest, relax or attend to personal or business matters. Minnesota Chapter provides limited assistance to purchase respite care services.

Scholarship Program
At the National MS Society, we believe that MS should not stand in the way of an education.

Activities for teens living with or affected by MS.

Care Partner Retreat

Youth Camp
Kids who have a parent or other close relative with MS are invited to spend a week at Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center in Finland, Minn.
