Emergency Assistance

User Options:

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society can provide limited financial assistance to address emergency needs that affect the physical or emotional well-being of a person with MS who registers with the chapter.

The Emergency Assistance program can provide up to $500 to cover all or part of the cost of the emergency need. The program doesn't cover an ongoing need, the cost of medical bills or medical expenditures. People considering this program should explore all other means of funding before using Emergency Assistance. The chapter reimburses all vendors directly.

To be eligible for Emergency Assistance, you must:

  • Be registered with the chapter. If you are not already registered, create an account now.
  • Have a written confirmation of an MS diagnosis from a doctor.
