Exercise

   Low Impact | Tai Chi Chih | Water Exercise | Yoga

Studies show exercise not only improves your overall health and well-being, but can also help to manage many MS symptoms. The Minnesota Chapter offers exercise programs in communities throughout the chapter where people living with MS can have fun exercising and socializing with friends.

If you want to participate in an exercise class but do not have one in your area, express your interest by contacting Jeannie Zank.The Minnesota Chapter will survey the interest in your community and move forward with the results.

Exercise programs are offered on a continuous basis in many locations and the Minnesota Chapter can assist with the cost of exercise programs. Contact the local exercise coordinator for more information, to register for the class or for information about applying for financial assistance.

Volunteer assistance

You may bring a friend or family member if you need assistance in the locker room or pool.

Transportation

We ask that you provide your own transportation or contact your local coordinator to discuss transportation options.
