What a Difference A Day Makes

The National MS Society, Minnesota Chapter presents a new pilot service program, What a Difference a Day Makes. If you live with multiple sclerosis and need a helping hand around the house, volunteers are available to help.

This day of service will take place on Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. as part of MS Awareness Week. Volunteers from the Minnesota Chapter will divide into teams and complete projects for or provide friendly visitation to people living with MS in the metro area and a potential future location in Duluth.

Projects volunteers may assist with include:

  • Yard work
  • Small household repairs
  • Cleaning gutters (one-story homes only)
  • De-cluttering house or garage
  • Painting Cleaning 
  • organizing closets
  • Moving furniture
  • Storing items in garage or attic
  • Heavy cleaning
  • Handyman chores
  • Running errands
  • Visiting your home

Check back for an online application for this service soon. For everyone’s protection, we will perform background checks on all participants and volunteers.
