Throughout the course of MS, people may need varying levels of support, resources and care. Care services such as home care, therapeutic recreation programs, respite care, nursing home and rehabilitative care are just a few of the services the National MS Society can help connect you to.
The Upper Midwest Chapter is dedicated to helping people achieve independence and better manage MS-related challenges. We provide:
- information about services available in your community;
- limited counseling and consultation on care decision-making;
- information about financial resources;
- lists of care facilities in the chapter area such as therapeutic recreation programs, respite care, home; care services and nursing facilities; and
- staff training and regular mail updates to interested facilities.
