Throughout the course of MS, people may need varying levels of support, resources and care. Care services such as home care, therapeutic recreation programs, respite care, nursing home and rehabilitative care are just a few of the services the MS Society can help connect you with.
The Minnesota Chapter is dedicated to helping people achieve independence and discover resources to help manage the challenges of MS.
The Minnesota Chapter provides the following:
- Information about services available in your community
- Limited counseling and consultation on care decision-making
- Information about financial resources
- Lists of care facilities in the chapter area such as therapeutic recreation programs, respite care, home care services and nursing facilities
- Staff training and regular mail updates to interested facilities
