Through our 50 state network of chapters we help each person address the challenges of living with MS. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society founded in 1946, funds more MS research, provide more services to people with MS, offer more professional education and furthers more advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world. Program Coordinator 

The National MS Society, Gateway Area Chapter, seeks a full-time program coordinator to become a vital member of the staff providing oversight to the Chapter’s Wellness and Education Programs. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a local, non-profit health agency.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include implementing client programs (wellness, therapeutic exercise, general education programs) including assessing the needs of people living with MS; planning, implementing, data and outcome management, and program evaluation; and, providing training to staff, interns and volunteers to ensure the success of the programs. Successful candidates must possess excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments; and, possess strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Qualifications / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years experience performing similar responsibilities. Candidate must a) possess excellent organizational skills; b) have the ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments; c) have volunteer engagement skills; and d) have previous experience in a similar position.
