Calling All Artists!

The Gateway Area Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society will feature the artwork of a local artist on their “Mission Possible” plaques. The plaques are presented to individuals who have raised at least $1 for each of the 6,000 people living with MS in the Gateway Area Chapter’s 90 counties in Missouri and Illinois. The plaques will be presented at the annual Night of 1,000 Stars dinner on January 21, 2009.

The Gateway Area Chapter is asking artists of all ages whose lives have been affected by multiple sclerosis to submit a colorful drawing of what multiple sclerosis means to them. The artist may have MS, have a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, sibling or other family member living with MS.

The drawing needs to be submitted on an 8 ½” x 11” sheet of white paper and should be very colorful. Young artists are asked to use only crayons, markers or colored pencils (please no stickers, glitter, or paints).
