Special Guest Speaker
A well-known Fashionista, Camerone Elise Parker will join us to share her journey through the spotlight and fame. Camerone has been represented by FORD and walked in high fashion runway shows for designers such as Vera Wang, Donna Karan and Giorgio Armani. She has given her time to being a Spokesmodel as well as being a well-known voice for radio listeners.
Camerone has had a life of fame and pleasure on one hand, but she has just recently shared that she has been doing all of this while living a life with multiple sclerosis. Camerone reached achievements that are only a dream to some people and she will give you a glance at how she did it.
Woman of Courage
The Woman of Courage award recognizes a woman who handles the daily challenges that multiple sclerosis can present to an individual and their family. Whether she is living with MS, or is the caregiver to a family member with MS, the Woman of Courage Recipient demonstrates dignity, grace, strength, compassion and creativity in her every day life. Our Woman of Courage is a role model for other women in our community on how to live your life to the fullest while balancing work, family and the challenges that come along the way. Nominate someone for the 2012 Woman of Courage Award!
Why should women get involved with this event?
Did you know that three-quarters of the people living with MS are women? Women are also the ones who often provide care for their loved ones living with MS. If you are a woman interested in meeting other women who are taking the lead to change the face of MS, this luncheon is for you!
