Millions of people are affected by multiple sclerosis and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms. Being newly diagnosed can bring about many questions. Our Chapter has developed a program to help you receive the support you need with the changes you may be experiencing since your diagnoses.
By registering for the Beginning Conversations Program you will:
- Meet one-on-one with a volunteer mentor that has MS.
- Meet your volunteer at a local coffee shop or convenient meeting place where we will buy you a cup of coffee or other beverage.
- Receive packet of information about MS specifically for people newly diagnosed.
- Have the opportunity to ask your questions and receive support from another person that knows what it means to be diagnosed with MS.
Beginning Conversations visits are available in the following areas:
- Cape Girardeau, MO
- Carbondale, IL
- Holts Summit, MO
- Saint Charles, MO
- Saint Louis, MO
Please contact our Chapter today if you have been diagnosed with MS in the past two years and would like to meet with a Beginning Conversations volunteer.
