The 2008 North American Education Program (NAEP) is being delivered in two parts. Part 1 is NAEP Symptom Management – “Hold that Thought! Cognition and MS.” Part 2 is “Nervous System Protection and Repair.”
Both are now available to self-help groups for viewing at monthly meetings.
“Hold that Thought! Cognition and MS” covers critical issues related to the study of MS and cognitive issues, and features conversations with internationally known experts.
“Nervous System Protection and Repair” introduces viewers to Dr. Charles ffrench-Constant from England and Dr. Ian Duncan from the University of Wisconsin. Drs. ffrench-Constant and Duncan provide an update on nervous system protection and repair.
Either a DVD or a VHS tape is available along with the program books for presentations at self-help group meetings throughout the year. If a Q&A session is part of the presentation, groups may also have a health professional knowledgeable about MS facilitating the discussion.
