Getting Started
What is a Team? A team consists of a captain and at least 3 additional team members. Teams are generally classified as Friends and Family or Corporate (meaning the team represents a company or organization). However, anyone can form a team and we encourage all teams to be inclusive and recruit from many areas. Forming a Walk MS team is an opportunity to share a great experience with friends, family members or co-workers, while being an important part of a community coming together to keep moving toward a cure. As a part of the MS movement, you and your team are committed to a world free of MS. We’re committed to you and the success of your team.

Team Captains Are Never Alone!
Once registered, captains receive a handbook full of information on ways to organize and motivate their team. Throughout the spring, captains will receive emails with tips on how to fundraise as a team and recruit additional team members. Staff are available to meet with captains, attend team meetings and offer any needed additional support. For more information, email Derek.Hill@nmss.org
