Face to Face
Central NC Chapter Annual Meeting

October 22, 2011
Embassy Suites – Greensboro
9 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Every year brings new and exciting progress in the treatment of multiple sclerosis; this year is no different. Dr. Jill Conway, Director of the Carolinas MS Center not only has a wealth of knowledge about MS but will relate it to you in easy-to-understand terms.

Our second program will feature a short documentary, “Face to Face”, produced by Paige Greason, PhD. In “Face to Face”, six North Carolina individuals living with MS share their stories of loss, self-discovery, and transcendence as they make sense of the diagnosis. The documentary was created specifically for those with MS, who can often feel alone, adrift, and confused. The voices of these six individuals, however, speak to us all. They remind us that life is short and call us to live each moment consciously, deliberately, and fully.

The six people featured in the documentary along with their significant others will then take part in a discussion about what they have experienced in their journey of living with multiple sclerosis.
