EQUIPMENT LOAN PROGRAM

Our Equipment Loan Program provides wheelchairs, scooters, walkers and other assistive devices for short-term (up to three weeks) and long-term loans. For your convenience, most of our equipment can be delivered directly to your home and when you no longer need it, we can arrange to have it picked up all at no cost to you.

Equipment is typically loaned out for vacations, family outings or when someone is going through an exacerbation. We cannot guarantee availability of equipment but will make every effort to accommodate your request. Call the chapter at 336-299-4136 or 1-800-344-4867 for more information.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Our Chapter is able to assist clients with MS who meet financial eligibility criteria with discretionary financial support to fund the purchase of durable medical equipment, medical supplies and/or services that serve to improve the client’s level of independence and overall health.

Funding for the financial assistance is allocated on an annual basis by the board of trustees as a part of the budget process. Because funding for financial resources is limited, requests are prioritized based on predetermined criteria and available resources. Funding decisions are made by the Chapter Programs & Services Director in consultation with a member of the Chapter Programs & Services Committee.
