We continue to recruit heavily to reach our goal of 300 applications to begin production on the North Carolina MS license plate. We are still short 70 applications. Thank you to those of you who have submitted applications and have waited patiently through this process.
We need YOUR help to make the plates a reality! Spread the word to your friends, your family, your church and civic groups, or your self-help groups. Flyers about the plates and applications you can distribute are available; please contact Christy Knutson at 1-800 FIGHT MS or christy.knutson@nct.nmss.org if you are interested.
In an effort to make the MS License Plate a reality in the near future, the North Carolina Chapters will cover the cost of a MS license plate for the first 300 applications. This is a cost of $25 per application for plates numbered 1 thru 300, $10 of which goes to the North Carolina Department of Transportation - Division of Motor Vehicles. Personalized MS Plate with a four letter word or combination of four letters and / or numbers will now be $30 rather than $55. OR you can join the MISSION FIRST CLUB by paying the full fee of $25 or $55 (personalized). All funds raised through the MS License Plate will go to the Chapters' awareness and outreach efforts.
