Celebrate.Inspire.Move. In March and April, the Mid-Atlantic Chapter will host Celebrate.Inspire.Move., community gatherings in eight cities in western North Carolina and throughout South Carolina. We are calling on all of you, your friends and family, business associates and others who want to make a difference in their communities to join the MS movement. As we recognize the outstanding achievements of volunteers and partners from each market area, you will be inspired to make your own bold, innovative contributions. This is an opportunity for you and your peers to discuss new strategies in fundraising, increasing public awareness, reaching out to those living with MS in the community and securing support to continue building momentum in MS research, getting us closer to a cure. You will leave these meetings empowered to develop and implement local action plans. This is your moment! Be bold. Be creative. Be collaborative. And make an impact in the lives of those living with multiple sclerosis.
This is your moment! More than ever, you can make a difference in the lives of people living with multiple sclerosis. As the current economic crisis deepens, we all feel the impact in many ways. As businesses suffer more losses and layoff more employees, charitable contributions will to decline in many sectors. We must mobilize all who care about MS to ensure continued funding for vital research and services for those living with MS.
Be bold! Be creative! Your commitment, involvement and participation with the Society is critical in these challenge times. Our strength lies in the passionate commitment of those who want to do something about MS now. It will take mobilizing and empowering thousands across our chapter and millions around the world to find the cause and the cure of MS. Whatever your involvement has been to this point, we want to help you find the best opportunity to put your skills and talents to work.
