Community events raise both money and awareness to help create a world free of multiple sclerosis. Money raised goes to support ongoing research initiatives into the cause, treatment and cure of MS, as well as provide for important programs and services directly supporting families living with MS in our communities. These events also offer a valuable opportunity to increase awareness of MS and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society within your community.
Community events are volunteer-led and supported and can include anything from a lemonade stand or bowling tournament to a comedy show or battle of the bands. We encourage you to be creative and look forward to hearing any ideas you may have for a community event. Get started on planning your community event by downloading the Community Event Organizers Packet. Once your event is approved we will send you the NMSS Community Event Logo, add your event to our website and issue a press release in your community. The MS Hope Rose
The MS Hope rose is 24” - 30” high and about 2‘ wide. This plant will make a lovely addition to your garden and is great for decorative pots. The MS Hope Rose is $10 and proceeds go to the National MS Society Mid Atlantic Chapter.
