Volunteers are essential to Walk MS! Volunteering prior to the event is just as important as the work that happens on Walk Day. Here are some jobs you can do before the event:
1. Brochure distribution.
Volunteers are needed to help deliver brochures to community businesses. Contact the chapter to see how you can get involved in promoting the Walk in your community!
2. Phone recruitment.
Each year we call to offer last year's walkers an opportunity to register over the phone. This can be done from our office or from your home, during the day or in the evening. We will provide call lists and scripts.
3. Office administration.
Volunteers are needed weekly to help overall fundraising admin functions in the office, including data entry, phone registrations, mailing fundraising packets, and much more!
