Direct Assistance
Often, living with MS can be overwhelming. Some people who have MS are unable to identify and tap into available community resources that can help them cope with the challenges of having a chronic disease.
The Direct Service Program of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter assists clients in planning and coordinating needs relating to long-term care issues, access to entitlements and financial management. Appropriate referrals to community services and resources are also given. This program can provide the hands-on assistance that many people may need to improve their quality of life and remain independent.
We offer direct assistance with:
Information and Referral, Financial Assistance, Employment, Financial Planning, and Coordinating Care.
The Mid-Atlantic Chapter is dedicated to achieving a world free of MS. WHAT WILL YOU DO TO CREATE A WORLD FREE OF MS?
