We mobilize the talents and resources of the millions of people who want to do something about MS!
Advocacy is an important part of the Society’s Mission to create a world free of MS.
- We relentlessly advocate for federal, state, and local government programs essential to people with MS and we champion the rights of people with disabilities.
- We join forces with individuals and organizations who share our goals.
- We help people learn how to advocate for themselves.
Being an ADVOCATE means to actively support the public policy issues and programs that influence the well-being of people with MS. Volunteer Advocates become ACTIVISTS when they intentionally take action to bring about social or political change.
The National MS Society challenges you today to become an Activist and take action about MS issues at the local, state and federal level.
